Jenis Kalimat Bahasa Inggris Menurut Suku Sakaliou Di Kabupaten Pulau Mentawai Siberut Selatan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan jenis-jenis kalimat yang diucapkan oleh Suku Sakaliou di Siberut Selatan Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan purposive sampel dengan menganalisis 2 hasil transkrip video Suku Sakaliou berbahasa inggris ketika berbicara kepada wisatawan mancanegara dalam menjalankan tur. Dari 2 dokumen hasil transkrip tersebut ditemukan 4 jenis kalimat berdasarkan tingkat kesulitannya, yaitu kalimat sederhana terdapat 5 data, kalimat gabungan terdapat 6 data, kalimat kompleks terdapat 4 data, dan kalimat majemuk kompleks terdapat 1 data. Selanjutnya, terdapat pengaruh budaya didalam cara Suku Sakaliou berbahasa inggris.
