PENINGKATAN PERTAHANAN MARITIM DAN MODERNISASI ALUTSISTA FILIPINA MELALUI KEMITRAAN STRATEGIS DENGAN AUSTRALIA TAHUN 2022-2025

Penelitian ini menganalisis upaya peningkatan pertahanan maritim Filipina melalui kemitraan strategis dengan Australia pada periode 2022-2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi dampak kemitraan tersebut terhadap kapabilitas maritim Manila, dengan fokus pada program Joint Australian Training Team-Philippines (JATT-P). Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik studi pustaka dari dokumen perjanjian dan pernyataan resmi pemerintah, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi peningkatan interoperabilitas lintas matra Angkatan Bersenjata Filipina sebagai hasil konkrit dari kerja sama yang disepakati. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemitraan strategis ini memberikan dampak signifikan melalui pelatihan taktis, modernisasi alutsista, dan pelaksanaan patroli gabungan sebagai instrument daya tangkal (deterrence). Meskipun Filipina masih menghadapi tantangan berupa ketimpangan kapasitas militer dengan Tiongkok serta hambatan struktural anggaran domestik, kolaborasi ini terbukti memperkuat arsitektur keamanan maritim dan mendukung stabilitas kawasan Indo-Pasifik yang terbuka serta tangguh.
