Analisis Peran Gig Workers dalam Workforce Flexibility dan Workforce Planning di Era Digital

Gig economy merupakan model kerja berbasis platform digital yang berkembang seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi digital dan perubahan pola kerja modern. Fenomena ini mendorong organisasi menerapkan sistem pengelolaan tenaga kerja yang lebih fleksibel dan adaptif di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran gig workers dalam mendukung workforce flexibility serta pengaruhnya terhadap workforce planning di era digital. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur melalui pengkajian berbagai artikel ilmiah, jurnal nasional dan internasional, serta dokumen yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gig workers memberikan fleksibilitas bagi organisasi karena perusahaan dapat menyesuaikan kebutuhan tenaga kerja secara lebih cepat, efisien, dan sesuai dengan perubahan pasar. Selain itu, penggunaan gig workers juga mendorong perusahaan menerapkan strategi workforce planning berbasis digital dan sistem pengelolaan tenaga kerja yang lebih dinamis. Namun, gig workers masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti ketidakpastian pendapatan, rendahnya perlindungan sosial, dan kurangnya kepastian kerja. Oleh karena itu, organisasi perlu menciptakan keseimbangan antara fleksibilitas tenaga kerja dan perlindungan pekerja agar sistem kerja berbasis gig economy dapat berjalan secara berkelanjutan.
