Hubungan Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) dengan Stres Akademik pada Mahasiswa Keperawatan di Era Digital

Mahasiswa keperawatan menghadapi beban ganda akademik dan klinis yang menjadikan mereka kelompok paling rentan mengalami stres. Di era digital, penggunaan media sosial yang intensif memunculkan fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), yaitu kecemasan ketika individu merasa tertinggal dari pengalaman sosial orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara FOMO dengan stres akademik pada mahasiswa keperawatan melalui pendekatan literature review. Metode yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review dengan pendekatan PRISMA terhadap artikel tahun 2013–2026 yang diperoleh dari PubMed, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, dan Google Scholar. Dari 1.842 artikel yang teridentifikasi, diperoleh 10 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penelitian menemukan hubungan positif yang signifikan antara FOMO dan stres akademik, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediator seperti academic procrastination, social media fatigue, dan social comparison. Mahasiswa dengan tingkat FOMO tinggi cenderung menunjukkan penurunan motivasi akademik, peningkatan prokrastinasi, dan kesulitan berkonsentrasi pada tugas perkuliahan maupun praktik klinis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa FOMO berkontribusi terhadap meningkatnya risiko stres akademik pada mahasiswa keperawatan, sehingga pengelolaan FOMO perlu menjadi bagian dari strategi pencegahan stres akademik di institusi pendidikan keperawatan.
