Hubungan Antara Job Demands dengan Work Engagement pada Karyawan Bagian Produksi di PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Kota Bitung

Tuntutan pekerjaan pada karyawan bagian produksi dapat melibatkan beban fisik dan psikologis, sementara work engagement diperlukan untuk menjaga keterlibatan karyawan dalam pekerjaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara job demands dengan work engagement pada karyawan bagian produksi PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Kota Bitung. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 140 karyawan dan sampel sebanyak 100 karyawan yang ditentukan berdasarkan Tabel Isaac dan Michael dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert, dengan instrumen work engagement berdasarkan dimensi vigor, dedication, dan absorption, serta job demands berdasarkan work overload, emotional load, dan cognitive load. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji deskriptif, normalitas, linearitas, dan korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,087 dengan signifikansi 0,391, sehingga tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara job demands dan work engagement. Kesimpulannya, job demands bukan merupakan faktor yang secara signifikan berkaitan dengan work engagement pada responden penelitian.
