Abstract

Infeksi saluran kemih (ISK) termasuk isu medis yang bisa dialami remaja putri dan berelasi dengan berbagai faktor, termasuk praktik kebersihan urogenital. Studi ini ditujukan guna menyelidiki hubungan pengetahuan personal hygiene urogenital dengan hasil skrining ISK pada remaja putridi SMP Santo Thomas 4 Medan. Studi ini mempergunakan metode observasional analitik lewat rancangan cross-sectional dan pelaksanaannya berlangsung pada April hingga Agustus 2026. Populasi yang diamati sejumlah 52 siswi dan semuanya dipilih jadi sampel melalui metode total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berbentuk kuesioner pengetahuan personal hygiene dan pemeriksaan urin dipstik dengan parameter leukosit esterase dan nitrit. Data dianalisis melalui univariat dan bivariat mempergunakan uji Chi-Square serta Fisher-Freeman-Halton exact test. Temuan mengindikasikan, 33 responden (63,5%) memiliki pengetahuan baik dan 42 responden (80,8%) memiliki hasil skrining ISK negatif. Analisis menunjukkan hubungan bermakna antara pengetahuan personal hygiene dan hasil skrining ISK dengan p < 0,001. Kesimpulannya, tingkat pengetahuan personal hygiene urogenital berhubungan secara signifikan dengan hasil skrining ISK pada siswi SMP Santo Thomas 4 Medan.
